Standing Out in the Crowd of Aspiring Entrepreneurs
Ken Lazar, our final guest, shares his valuable insights on the importance of niching down in business. Drawing from his own experience of running a successful executive search agency, Ken points out that having a specific focus can be a crucial factor in standing out and becoming a go-to resource in one’s industry. He recounts his decision to specialize in recruiting sales professionals. This paid off both in terms of brand recognition and business success. Ken also warns against the temptation of “chasing shiny objects” or pursuing opportunities outside your niche. This often leads to wasted time and resources. In terms of social media strategy, Ken advises aspiring entrepreneurs to be active and consistent on one or two platforms most frequented by their target audience. Do this rather than spread yourself too thin across many.
